The Nile

Lots of elk and deer in this area, some coyotes, doves, grouse. Fantastic views, bring your camera or video. Steep terrain but not scary, timber, logged off areas, old logging roads, creeks. Some new logging in area.
At the Woodshed Tavern off HWY 410 on the east side of Chinook Pass, turn west on Nile Road, travel about 3 miles to the Nile Creek Ranch...Clover Springs and Nile 1600 road travel apx 3.5 miles on 1600 rd. and turn left on 1601 rd.

Nile Creek is near the camping area and the only water available near camp. The riding is steep but not scary and many endurance riders come here.
Elk abound in the area and are fed here in the winter months. Its a really nice place to ride and meet others.
