Just out of Enumclaw, Mt. Baldy is above the old mill site on highway
410. Great area for conditioning your horse. Some areas are rocky. Some areas are changing. The whole mountain is still an adventure however. We’ve seen deer and elk in here, someone else saw a bear.

Sandy shown here putting up one of the new 44 signs we made to mark the trails in this area in 2002.

Since, some signs are down due to vandals.

Winter riding brings up the water level on Red Creek. My dog couldn’t get across it. She was swept downstream everytime she tried so I lifted her into Sandy’s arms and she rode across.

Sandy giving my Aussie Shep a ride over the winter swift Red Creek. You can see how its flooded.

Lots of bear sign on Mt. Baldy. Every corner I went around on this day I had my camera ready but as you can see....thats all I saw

At the bottom of the S&S trail. Lots of grass to give the horses a treat.

Our champions, Joe and Larry who have worked the trail system on Mt. Baldy making changes where needed and cutting wind-downed trees. A big thanks to these two men.
