This is me, Mk, always out in the cold as to ‘where’ we are. Thus came the ‘mother of invention’ GPS and a new world of electronic learning curves.
I can honestly say that I’ve never had more fun and adventure than in this new and ever changing ‘dot com’ world we live in.
Creating these maps for you took Sandy and I two years of learning a four year course and putting into practice the principles of being a cartographer. We even learned how to write HTML before the web building programs created their own! Personally, I was tired of twenty + year old trail maps and getting lost because trail numbers and or names were changed. I knew there must be others like me out there somewhere. I also knew I wasn’t unique to the LOST.
We hope that this service to our fellow horsemen and women will be an aid in keeping them safe.
So thats pretty much the story and I hope to see you on the trail.
